Why Reiki?
Reiki, (pronounced like "ray-key") is an ancient healing technique that focuses on balancing energy within the body, helping facilitate mental, emotional, physical and spiritual growth. The word "Reiki" literally means (Rei) "universal life" and (ki) "energy".
This two day course is the intermediate level of Usui Reiki training, Level II
Reiki level 2, also known as the "practitioner level," is the second stage of Reiki training. At this level, students learn to work with Reiki symbols and to perform distance healing. The symbols allow the practitioner to focus the Reiki energy more precisely, and to send healing energy to people, places, or situations that are not physically present. In addition, students receive further instruction and guidance on the ethical use of Reiki energy and are encouraged to continue their personal and spiritual development. Completion of Reiki level 2 allows the practitioner to work professionally with Reiki, and many people choose to offer Reiki treatments to others or to incorporate Reiki into their existing practice.
Reiki Level 2 Certificate & Attunement
In this class, you will:
Identify three Japanese names correlating with the symbols (Verbiage) for both Reiki symbols taught in this course
Identify the Reiki symbol and their correlating mantra
Classify a situation that may require the Emotional/Mental Harmony symbol
List Reiki Symbols & the correlating Mantras for Meditation
List the types of Distant Treatments & Mental/Emotional Healing with Reiki
Classify a situation that may require the Distant Symbol symbol
Receive your Reiki Level II attunement
Identify if one or both symbols are needed during a Reiki treatment session
Receive your Reiki Level II Training Manual
Complete your Reiki II certification
Receive ongoing email & phone support from Jess
Training Schedule & Cost
Reiki Level II classes held on two 4-hour days and both classes are required to receive your certification. All trainings held in a live, classroom setting. The two-day training costs $275.00 in total. A $50 deposit is required to secure your spot.
“Do I need to prepare before learning Reiki?”
It’s a common question. You don’t need to prepare in any special way before learning Reiki. Reiki meets you wherever you are spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally. This is one of the wonderful aspects of Reiki. Simply arrive on day one of the course just as you are.
Learning Reiki changed my life. It has also changed the life of many of my students. It may change yours as well.
What you receive from learning Reiki isn’t dependant upon:
if you have or haven’t received Reiki prior to Day One of the course
if you are an experienced meditator or have never meditated
if you do or don’t practice yoga
if you have learned Reiki elsewhere or this is your first Reiki course.
Reiki will meet your need, at any given time, on any given day, so arrive to learn Reiki just as you are.
It’s natural to feel excited, nervous and a little apprehensive before taking a Reiki Level One course. You don’t know what to expect. Rest assured, Restore Naturally Reiki courses are attended by lovely people just like yourself. They are conducted in a safe, supportive, fun and respectful environment.
If you are wanting to prepare you can:
Aim to get good rest leading up to the course
Arrive well hydrated
If you are already involved with meditation, yoga, qi gong practise these before the course
If you are not acquainted with other energy and spiritual practices it is not a problem. You receive sound guidance throughout Reiki Level One.
You learn meditations practised by Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki, during all Naturally Rooted Reiki Courses.
